The Foundation seeks a detail-oriented special assistant to provide day-to-day operational support to the Office of the President as requested and directed by the senior advisor. This role supports work across the Casey Foundation and provides the opportunity to learn about multi-issue grant making.
Among other duties, the special assistant will:
help manage schedules, create agendas and collect and distribute materials for Senior Leadership, Board of Trustees and Program Vice President meetings;
draft written products/correspondence as requested, including meeting summaries, cover memos and emails; and
represent the Office of the President in meetings as needed.
The ideal candidate is a conscientious self-starter who has:
a bachelor’s degree in communications, human services, social work, business, education or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience;
a minimum of three years of communications and/or project management experience;
strong writing, administrative and organizational skills;
the ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects, tasks and tight deadlines; and
exceptional judgment and trustworthiness.
